All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ky/kyfiles.html ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Patricia O'Connor p-oconnor@att.net June 18, 2007, 12:14 pm Dutchman Creek Written: June 17, 1806 Recorded: March 7, 1807 Bullitt Co., Deed Bk B, p 93 BRESLOW; LOVELACE; NEAL; CARICO; MEEK; FIDLER; MOTHERSHEAD; GRAYSON This Indenture made this seventeenth day of June in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and six Between Gideon BRISTOW of Shelby County and State of Kentucky of the one part and Reson LOVELACE late of Bullitt County of the aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the above said Gideon BRESLOW hath bargained and sold unto the Said Reson LOVELACE a certain parcel or tract of land lying & being in the County of Bullitt being two hundred acres more or less & being part of Benjamin NEALS two thousand acre tract Beginning at three hickory near the head of a drain of duchman thence North 8 West one hundred and Seventy three and a half poles to ______ line thence N 82 West with CARICOS line fiddlers Corner thence S8 East one hundred and forty two poles to a large white oak thence S 82 East to the Beginning. To hold the above sd BRISTOW doth by these presents forever Warrant and defend the title of the above sd tract of land from all and every person or persons whatsoever to the sd LOVELACE to her heirs & assigns. Given under my hand and Seal the day and date above mentioned. Teste Gideon BRISTOW [seal] Samuel MEEK [X] James FIDLER Charles MOTHERSHEAD Bullitt County towit I the deputy Clerk of the County Court of said County do hereby certify that the within Indenture was proved to be the voluntary act and Deed of the within named Gideon BRISTOW by the oaths of Samuel MEEK & James FIDLER on the Eighteenth day of October last by the oath of Charles MOTHERSHEAD on the fourteenth day of January last the subscribing witnesses thereto and that I have recorded the said Indenture in the Clerks Ovvice of the said Court as required by Law.
