OWEN, Hezekiah STOVALL and Polly his wife who was Polly OWEN, William OWEN, Zedekiah HARRIS and Betsy his wife who was Betsy OWEN, Reuben STRINGER and Delilah his wife who was Delilah OWEN, Simeon HARRIS and Susannah his wife who was Susannah OWEN, Felix OWEN, William CORNWELL and Nancy his wife who was Susannah OWEN, John OWEN, Rebecca OWEN and Patsy OWEN heirs and Representatives of the said William R. OWEN deceased of the County of Bullitt of the other Part Witnesseth that the said James COX and Mary his wife, Walter BEALL and Ann his wife and Thomas FOSTER and Susannah his wife heirs and representatives of the said Gabriel COX did for and in Consideration of the sum of ninety Pounds Current money to them in hand paid grant bargain sell and convey unto Frances OWEN the Widow of William OWEN Deceased under the limitation and restriction hereafter mentioned and to Hezekiah STOVALL and Polly his wife, William OWEN, Zedekiah HARRIS and Betsey his wife, Ruben STRINGER and Delilah his wife, Simeon HARRIS and Susannah his wife, Felix OWEN, William CORNWELL and Nancy his wife, John OWEN, Rebecca OWEN and Patsy OWEN heirs and devisees and Representatives of the said William OWEN dec'd (four of the before named persons, Towit Hezekiah STOVAL, William OWEN, Zedekiah HARRIS and Reuben STRINGER being devisees of said William OWEN of 100 acres part of the tract of land herein after mentioned) one certain tract or parcell of land containing four hundred and forty acres Situate lying and being in the County of Bullitt on the south side of Salt river being part of a 790 acre tract about one mile from the mouth of Coxes Creek bounded as follows... Beginning at a Beech and Sugar tree on the bank of Salt river.. To Have and to Hold the said Tract of land unto the said Frances OWEN the widow of William OWEN dec'd (with and subject to the reservations of the 100 acres designated by the ----- plat to the four children before named as overseer of sd William OWEN with the Appurtenances and to Simeon HARRIS, Felix OWEN, William CORNWELL, John OWEN, Rebecca OWEN and Patsy OWEN heirs aforesaid to the said Frances the Widow during her natural life and after her death to the other before named Persons in Exclusion of the four devisees aforesaid to Whom the 100 acres apart of said tract was bequeathed the said Widow being hereby vested with the use of the balance of said tract during her life agreeably to the directions of the last will of the said Wm. dec'd and after and at the time of her death to the heirs afsd. and their heirs and assigns forever.
