29 May 1846  Bullitt Co. Deed Book L p. 5  Gad DAVIS and his wife Eliza P. 
DAVIS of the County of Shelby, State of Kentucky to Davis CLARKE and Jesse 
CLARKE of the County of Bullitt and State aforesaid... for and in 
consideration of the sum of one thousand sixty four dollars good and lawful 
money to them in hand paid hath given granted and sold one hundred thirty 
three acres of land more or less situate and being in the County of Bullitt 
on the North side of Salt River and being a part of TERRELL and HAWKINS 400 
acres survey, part of the tract of land conveyed by Elizabeth BROWN of the 
State of New York to Philip RICHARDSON of Jefferson County, State of Kentucky 
and dated 4 Nov 1843 and by said RICHARDSON to said Gad DAVIS and both of 
said deeds referred to for greater certainty and said Tract of land is 
bounded as follows:  Beginning at a stake between a large Oak stump and a 
walnut in GENTRY's line it being the original division line between said 
TERRILL & HAWKINS... thence to a Maple on the bank of Salt River, thence up 
the river...133 acres more or less.

same day & immediately following - Gad DAVIS and his wife Eliza P. DAVIS of 
the County of Shelby, State of Kentucky to Nathan HARRIS of the County of 
Bullitt and State aforesaid... for and in consideration of the sum of forty 
three dollars and seventy five cents in hand paid doth grant bargain sell and 
convey a certain parcel or tract of land containing six and one quarter acres 
more or less being on the North side of Salt River in the County of Bullitt 
being part of TERRELL & HAWKINS 400 acre tract of land and being a part of 
the Tract of land conveyed by Elizabeth BROWN to Philip RICHARDSON and from 
RICHARDSON to said Gad DAVIS
