I hereby mortgage, pledge and transfer to said Charles CRENSHAW two sorrel mares and one bay mare, six head of Cattle, two milch cows and calves, two yearlings, twelve head of hogs and one wheat fan said property now in my possession in the County of Bullitt. If I should fail to pay said sum of money by the 13th of November next, then said CRENSHAW is to sell the property aforesaid or as much thereof as is necessary, the proceeds to be applied to pay him the sum aforesaid and its interest from this date. If I pay CRENSHAW the amount aforesaid and interest from the date the 13th November next then this to be void, otherwise to remain in full force. Given under my hand this the 11th June 1851.
