DEATS against the Estate of N. LANDERS dec'd in the hands of his admr. B. H. LANDERS if so much there be if not then of the Estate which descended to Burr H. LANDERS, Denton SMITH and Rebecca his wife, Elizabeth HOGLAND, Elijah LANDERS (or possibly Eliza?), D. H. JENKINS and his son D. H. JENKINS, Lucy LANDERS, James LANDERS, Mary LANDERS, John LANDERS, Susan LANDERS, Maria LANDERS, Nancy LANDERS, Sarah LANDERS, and Samuel LANDERS heirs of the said Nathaniel LANDERS deceased for the sum of $20:10 amount returnable at Bardstown on the 25th day of December 1853 which said Executor between the date and return day thereof came regularly to the hands of Henry C. THOMAS Sheriff of Bullitt County and by virtue of said Executors and while at the same was in full force the said THOMAS, Sheriff aforesaid levied the same on a tract of land on Long Lick Creek of 120 acres more or less being the same tract conveyed by Thos. A. HILL and wife to Nathaniel LANDERS recorded in Bullitt County Court Clerks Deed Book K (or possibly H) p. 337 and having duly advertised according to Law and after having said tract of land valued as by law required did on the 20 day of December 1852 sell said land at the courthouse door in Shepherdsville to the highest bidder in Market. The sheriff swore he had the land valued by John B. BOLTON and Charles RATLIFF Jr. who have the qualifications required after being sworn valued the same at 2.50 per acre which is here filed and made part of the return. 15 Aug 1854 Indenture from Henry C. THOMAS, Sheriff of Bullitt County sold the land above to Benjamin F. TROUTMAN of the County and State aforesaid. Recorded Bullitt County KY Court 2 Sep 1854.
