KY Deed Book L p. 55 Francis J. DUNN and Sarah M. DUNN his wife of the County of Iowa Territory of Wisconsin, parties of the first part and William R. THOMPSON of the County of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the second part. Witnesseth: That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars lawful money to them in hand paid hath given granted bargained and sold all their right, title, interest and claim to a certain parcel or tract of land situate lying and being in the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky... bounded by CHRISTIAN's two thousand acre survey and the corners of John DUNN and Abraham FIELD... thence to a hickory tree on the McGEE survey line... containing one hundred and twenty acres more or less being the same land sold and conveyed by Guy PHELPS Executor of the Estate of John DUNN dec'd to the said Francis J. DUNN, one of the parties hereto by deed bearing date 29 February 1840 and recorded in the Circuit Court of Bullitt County on 7 March 1840 together with all singular appurtenances. (signed) Francis J.
