Deed Book K p. 440 Whereas in the suit by petition for the sale of the land of the Heirs of Esau SIMMONS the Bullitt Co. Circuit Court did by its decree and order in deed case of 19 Apr 1845 Approve of the report and Survey and division of the land as made in said case by the Comrs. and the Surveyor whereby 29 1/4 Acres was allotted by metes and bounds to the Heirs of Elisha W. SIMMONS and said Court did then order a decree to said Elisha W. SIMMONS Heirs for said 29 1/4 acres and appointed D. B. ABERNATHY a Commissioner to maek the same and a the October Term 1845 the Court appointed N. C. SUMMERS a Commissioner in place of said ABERNATHY to make said Convenyance and therefore in Consideration of the decree and orders in said case This indenture made this 10th day of October 1845 between Nathan CRENSHAW, Arkin CRENSHAW, Joseph C. CRENSHAW, Richard J. S. CRENSHAW, Richard SIMMONS, Sally SIMMONS, James SIMMONS, Robert SIMMONS, Levi SIMMONS, Alfred SIMMONS and Elizabeth his wife, Charles CRENSHAW, Joseph P. SIMMONS and Nancy his wife, Allison CRENSHAW, William TEMPLE and Susan his wife, Richard CRENSHAW, Nathan CRENSHAW, by Noah C. SUMMERS, Commissioner for them for that purpose of one part and Mosby SIMMONS, Robert SIMMONS, John SIMMONS, Mary SIMMONS, Joseph SIMMONS and William SIMMONS children and Heirs of said Elisha W. SIMMONS dec’d of the other part. Witnesseth That they the said parties of the first part by said Noah C. SUMMERS Comm’r. for them for that purpose have in obedience to the decree and order... released, sold and conveyed to them the parties of the second part, Heirs of the said Elisha W. SIMMONS dec’d and to their Heirs forever the tract of land lying on the South side of Salt River in Bullitt Co.... beginning at the bank of Salt River... mentions WILSON’s line.
