16 June 1833 Bullitt County Deed Book H p. 15  Samuel EVANS and his wife Effa 
(?) of Bullitt County and State of Kentucky to Jacob FOX of the county and 
state aforesaid.  That the said EVENS and his wife do this day bargain sell 
alien convey and confirm unto the said Jacob FOX a certain tract of land or 
lot of ground situated  lying and being in the County of Bullitt a part of 
Samuel EVENS land purchased of Jesse DRAKE and bounded by Samuel DAVIESON's 
corner, Charles DRAKE's line and the line of Lewis SNAPP containing five 
acres and three quarters and five poles for the consideration of sixty nine 
dollars to us payed in hand.

Samuel's wife didn't sign and she did not appear before the clerk to release 
dower so I could not be certain of her name since it only appeared the once 
and was very hard to read.  



3 April 1829  Bullitt County Deed Book H p. 160
John S. OWEN of the County of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the one part 
and Jacob FOX of the county and state aforesaid.  For and in consideration of 
the sum of Twenty five dollars in hand paid by the said Jacob to the said 
John... doth grant, bargain, sell and convey a certain lot lying and being in 
the Town of Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, known and designated on the plat 
of said Town by #22 being on the South side of Main Street and adjoining the 
said Jacob FOX's Lot with a front on Main Street of 82 feet 6 inches and 247 
feet and 6 inches back.

Know all men by these presents that I Sarah BOYD of the state and District 
aforesaid have appointed and by these presents do appoint my brother William 
FOX of the State of Kentucky, Bullitt County, my lawful attorney to collect 
the Legacy left me by my father Philip FOX dec'd of the aforesaid state and 
county and I do constitute him my attorney to do all my business, sue and be 
sued, plead and unplead.  In Witness whereof I have signed my name and 
affixed my seal this 27th day of October 1834.
