Transcribed by: Melody Tittle (valenaann68@yahoo.com) Submitted: 6 May 2003 ********************************************************************** This indenture made and entered into this 18th day of February 1882 between Perry GILMORE and Martha GILMORE his wife of the first parts and Joseph GILMORE of the second part all of the county of Bullitt and State of Kentucky Witnesseth that the said first party for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said second a certain piece or por___ (?) of lands lying and being in the county of Bullitt containing thrity five acres of land on and bounded on the north by the lands of J.W. JACKSON and B.H. SANDERS and on the west by said JACKSON and on the east by said SANDERS on Cedar Creek an equal distance on said west and east sides to include thirty five acres. To have and to hold the said described piece or parcel of thirty five acres unto the said second party together will all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any will appertaining (except the right of pass way across said land as now used) and also his heirs and assigns to their only proper use and behoof forever, and the said first party further covenant that they will, their heirs, executors, or administrators shall forever warrant and defend the said lands against the claims of any person or persons claiming the same by, through, or under them and against all claimants whatsoever in witness whereof the said first party hath hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals on the day and year above ______ (?) HALL clerk of the Bullitt County Court do certify that the foregoing deed was produced to me in my office on the 25th day of February 1882 signed acknowledged and delivered before me by Perry GILMORE and Martha GILMORE, his wife, parties thereto to be their act and deed and was on the same day lodged in my office for record and of part truly recorded the same together with this certificate in my office this 25th day of March 1882.
