GILMORE & his wife Minnie J. GILMORE of the frist, and Isaiah JAMES and his wife Susan L. JAMES of the second part all of the County of Bullitt and State of Ky. Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty ($50.00) dollars cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell unto the said Isaiah JAMES and wife and to their heris and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the said County of Bullitt a part of the Perry GILMORE tract containing four acres and twenty poles it being the four acres set aside to Joseph W. GILMORE in the division of the lands of his father's estate, and bounded as follows: Beginning at a Stake in the passway left by the Commissioners, and a corner to Richard BRAITHWAITE, Joseph W. GILMORE and Isaiah JAMES - thence with said passway N2 E30 poles to a stake in said passway and to a corner of Isaiah JAMES in Joseph W. GILMORE'S line - thence with JAMES' line N86 W22 poles to a stake another of JAMES' corners - thence S2 west with JAMES' line 30 poles to another of JAMES' lines and with it South 86 eAST 22 poles to the beginning. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Isaiah JAMES and wife and to their heirs and to their proper use and benefits forever. And the said GILMORE covenants and agrees to warrant and defend the title to the same against all legal claimants. In testimony whereof the said Joseph W. GILMORE and his wife Minnie J. TILDEN, Clerk of the Bullitt County Court, in the State aforesaid, certify that the foregoing Deed to Isaiah JAMES and wife was on Aug. 24 1899 produced to me in my office and acknowledged by Joe GILMORE and Minnie GILMORE his wife to be their act and deed, it was then lodged for record, which with this certificate I have duly recorded in my office this 29th day of August 1899.
