GILMORE and his wife, Margaret A. GILMORE, of the first part and Goldie M. GARRETT and her husband H.B. GARRETT, of the second part, of R.F.D. 4, Louisville, Kentucky: WITNESSETH: That for a valuable consideration, receipt of which is acknowledged: The first parties do hereby sell, grant and convey unto second parties, jointly, for and during their lives with remainder in fee simple to the survivor of them, his or her heirs and assigns, all their right, title and interest in and to the following described real estate lying in Bullitt County, Kentucky, on west side of Cedar Creek road in Zoneton District: Beginning at a stone, corner to I. JAMES heirs and R. ROBERTS' line and running thence with R. ROBERTS' line N3 1/2 E9.60 chains to a stone; thence S84 1/2 E26.71 chains to the center line of the Cedar Creek road, corner to R. ROBERTS' and Joe H. GILMORE'S line; thence with the center line of said road S4 W5.87 chains; S2 1/2 W4.43 chains to corner to J. JAMES' heirs in Joe H. GILMORE'S line; thence leaving the road with I. JAMES' heirs line N84 1/2 W26.75 chains to the beginning, containing 26.57 acres, subject to legal highways. This is part of land conveyed to J.W. GILMORE, who was also Joseph GILMORE, by deed from Perry GILMORE etc. dated Feb. 18, 1882, recorded in Deed Book X Page 448 in office of Clerk of Bullitt County Court and by deed from Julia GILMORE etc. dated Sept. 9, 1889, recorded in Deed Book 27 Page 526 in office of clerk above and the interest herein conveyed is undivided one-half interest that was inherited by Joe H. GILMORE from said J.W. GILMORE as shown by affidavit of inheritance recorded in Deed Book 59 Page 525. To have and hold the same unto second parties, jointly, for and during their lives with remainder in fee simple to the survivor of them, his or her heirs and assigns, free from any liens except the 1939 taxes, which second parties assume and agree to pay.
