GARRETT and her husband, H.B. GARRETT, of the first part and Joe H. GILMORE and his wife, Margaret A. GILMORE, of the second part, of R.F.D. 4, Louisville, Kentucky. WITNESSETH: That for a valuable consideration, the receipt of which is acknowledged; The first parties do hereby sell, grant and convey unto second parties, jointly, for and during their lives with remainder in fee simple to the survivor of them, his or her heirs and assigns, all their interest in the following described real estate lying and being in Bullitt County, Kentucky, on the Cedar Creek Road in Zoneton District: BEGINNING in the center of the Cedar Creek road opposite a mulberry stump, corner to C.W. STOUT in R.ROBERTS' line; thence with said center line S4 W6.50 chains; S2 1/2 W11.84 chains to corner to R.W. BRAITHWAITE in JAMES' line; thence with BRAITHWAITE S86 E19.65 chains to a stone on the west bank of Cedar Creek, corner to BRAITHWAITE; thence up the creek on the west bank as follows: N15 W2.09 chains; N13 1/2 E4.49 chains; N53 E91/100 chains to a white oak marked as a corner between the 33 acres and so called 35 acres; thence S85 1/2 E3.75 chains to a stone on the north bank of Cedar Creek, corner to C.W. STOUT; thence with STOUT'S line N9 3/4 E12.15 chains to a stone, thence N87 1/2 W25.67 chains to the beginning, containing 42.93 acres, subject to legal highways. The above is part of the land conveyed to J.W. GILMORE who was also Joseph GILMORE, by a deed from Perry GILMORE etc. dated February 18, 1882, recorded in Deed Book X Page 448 in office of clerk of Bullitt County Court and also by deed from Julia GILMORE etc. dated Sept. 9, 1889, recorded in Deed Book 27 Page 526 in said office. The said J.W. GILMORE died and the interest herein conveyed is undivided one-half interest in same inherited by Goldie M. GARRETT as shown by affidavit of inheritance attached hereto. To have and hold the same unto said second parties, jointly, for and during their lives with remainder in fee simple to the survivor of them, his or her heirs and assigns, free from any liens except the taxes for 1939, which second parties assume and agree to pay.
