27 June 1850  Bullitt Co. Deed Book M p. 29  JACOB GANOTE of the County of Bullitt, 
State of Kentucky to JEREMIAH JONES of the other part... for and in consideration of 
the sum of Two hundred & ninety dollars & fifty, six cents in hand hath granted, 
bargained and sold a certain parcel of land situate in the County of Bullitt on the 
waters of Floyds Fork and bounded as follows:  Beginning at a stone in the Mt. 
Washington & Shepherdsville road  in the line of Col. JOHN HALL’S land thence down... 
to the line of FELIX OWEN’S land....containing forty nine and one half acres be the 
same more or less....
