Contributed by Donna bobndonnaky@aol.com Date: 3 June 2000 ***************************************************************************** This Indenture made this first day of January in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Five between Pinah GENTRY and Henry GENTRY her husband of the first part, and Austin HALL of the other part, all of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky. Witnesseth: that the said Pinah GENTRY and Henry her husband, for, and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and one dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained and sold unto the said Austin HALL, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, release and confirm unto the said Austin HALL his heirs executors and administrators to forever a certian tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Bullitt, and being part of McCulloch's Settlement and preemption of fourteen hundred acres, and being one _____ fifth part of a tract of land which William HALL for by his last will and testament bequeathed unto his son Simeon HALL containing one hundred eighty four acres to be the same more or less, and bounded on the South and West by the lands of Clifton HALL, on the North West by the lands of Lewis SNAPP that was purchased of William HALL ___ one Robert JARVIS, and unto the North and East by the land of Blaxton GENTRY: To have and to hold the said one undivided fifth part of the tract of land aforesaid with all the oppertunances thereunto belonging to the only proper use and benefit of the said Austin HALL his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns forever, and the said Pinah GENTRY and Henry GENTRY her husband further covenants and agrees to and with the said Austin HALL that they will, and their heirs shall forever warrant and defend the title of the one undivided fifth part of the tract of land as above described unto the said Austin HALL his heirs and assigns from themselves their heirs and assigns & from the claim or claims of all and every person or person's claiming is to claim: In testimony whereof the said Pinah GENTRY and Henry GENTRY her husband have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals this day and date above written.
