18 Jul 1808  Bullitt Co.  Deed Book B p. 238  William GRAYHAM and Nancy his 
Wife of the County of Bullitt and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part 
and Henry OLDHAM of same ... for and in consideration of the sum of eighty 
dollars current money of the United States of America to them in hand paid 
have given granted bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of land 
situate lying and  being in the County of Bullitt in the town of 
Shepherdsville containing one half of one acre more or less known in the plan 
of said town by the number of fifty and bounded as follows:  Northwardly by 
second street, Southwardly by an alley running between second street and 
Water Street Westwardly by an alley running between main street and Walnut 
Street and Eastwardly by lot #16 which lot #16 Corners on Walnut Street and 
second street.  To have and to hold the said tract with all appurtenances.

5 Dec 1812  Bullitt Co. Deed Book B p. 610  Andrew GRAYHAM and Nancy his wife 
of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the one part to Elenor 
WATERS of the City of Baltimore and State of Maryland of the other part.  For 
and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to them in hand paid 
have bargained and sold a certain tract of land containing one hundred and 
fifty acres situate lying and being in the County of Bullitt, Kentucky near 
and adjoining Shepherdsville...  borders the line of Adam SHEPHERD's six 
hundred acre survey on the bank of Salt River at sits at the Junction of the 
town line of Water Street then with said Street line as far as Walnut Street 
and with said street to the river thence up the river to the corner of Peter 
SHEPHERD's six hundred acre Survey... and it is to Expressly agreed and 
clearly understood that the said Andrew GRAYHAM and wife is not to be 
answerable for any damages on any part of the Consideration aforesaid in case 
title hereby Conveyed Should prove defective or in case the said Elenor 
WATERS her heirs or assigns should be evicted from the land aforesaid or any 
part thereof from any Cause or by any Claim Whatever Except the claim of one 
holding under the said Andrew GRAYHAM and wife.
