GRANT & Plaintiffs against Virgie GRANT & Defendants then pending in the Bullitt Circuit Court an order was made at the December Term 1906 directing the Master Commissioner of said Court to expose at public auction the property hereinafter described and whereas said property was sold in accordance with said order on the 11th day of February 1907 to W.G. JENKINS at the sum of Eleven Hundred and twenty five Dollars and a report of said sale was filed at the March Term 1907 of said court and was by an order of said Court at said term confirmed and all of the purchase money having been paid except that due the infant defendants Rosa PRATHER and Virgie GRANT and at the August Term 1908 said W.G. JENKINS filed a written assignment of one half of the land sold in this cause to Alonzo JENKINS in consideration of his paying one half of the purchase price and at the March Term 1909 and order was entered directing the Master Commissioner of this Court to execute a deed of conveyance of said land to W.G. JENKINS and Alonzo JENKINS. Now therefore this Indenture made and entered into this 25th day of March 1909 between W.O. GRANT, Jessie GRANT, Irene PRATHER, Owen PRATHER, Virgie GRANT, Rosa PRATHER and Arch PRATHER by J.F. COWLY, Master Commissioner of the first part and W.G. JENKINS and Alonzo JENKINS of the second part. Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of the premises the parties of the first part by J.F. COWLY Master Commissioner have sold and by this writing convey to said W.G. JENKINS and Alonzo JENKINS the following described real estate lying in Bullitt County, Kentucky. Beginning at a stone and a beech corner to ROOKSBY in Wm. CRUMBACKER'S line and with the same N30 E38 2/5 poles to the corner of lot No 5 and with the same N36 E43 poles to a stake corner to lot No 3 and with the same N55 w74 poles to a red oak S36 W24 2/5 poles to a dead beech ROOKSBY corner and with his line S34 1/2 W25 poles to a stone S53 E74 poles to the beginning, containing 34 1/2 acres more or less. A lien is retained upon the land herein above described to secure the payment of one half of the purchase price owning(?) to the infants Rosa PRATHER and Virgie GRANT, towit: $562.00 with interest thereon at six per cent annum from the 11th day of February 1907 subject to a credit of $38.05 paid August 26th 1907. To the said W.G. JENKINS and Alonzo JENKINS their heirs and assigns to have and to hold forever In testimony whereof the said Commissioner has hereto set his hand this 25th day of March 1909 J.F.
