Deed Bk. F p. 20 Samuel GOLDSMITH and Elizabeth his wife, Isaac GOODIN and Rachel his wife, heirs and representatives of Reuben CASE dec’d of the County of Hardin, State of Kentucky to Benjamin CHAPEZE of the County of Nelson, State of Kentucky... have granted bargained & sold for a valuable consideration to them two tracts or parcels of land lying in the County of Bullitt, the first containing 378 acres lying on the north side of Salt River near Shepherdsville patented to the said Reuben CASE adjacent land patented to Peter SHEPHERD for 900 acres. The second tract containing 200 acres lying on the Eastern and upper side of Floyds Fork of Salt River being the same tract that was decreed (?) deeded (?) to the said CASE’s heirs by the Bullitt Co. Circuit Court in a Suit in Chancery wherein said CASE’s heirs were complainants and Thomas WHITLEDGE’s heirs were defendants.
