8 July 1851 Bullitt County Deed Book M  p. 184  LORENZO HOGLAND and SARAH his wife and RICHARD 
HOGLAND of Bullitt County of the one part and JAMES CROAN of the same County and State.  That the 
said RICHARD HOGLAND for and in consideration of the sum of Eight dollars in hand paid have Granted 
bargained and sold all the interest in a tract of land in the County of Bullitt and on Salt River about 9 or 
10 miles below Shepherdsville and being one acre undivided of a tract of land sold under a decree of the 
Bullitt County Circuit Court in the name of Dr. S. A. McKAY pltf. against the said RICHARD 
HOGLAND and all of said tract was sold under said decree except one acre.
