12 Apr 1830 Spencer Co. KY Deed Book D p. 374  William HATFIELD to Stillwell 
HEADY... for and in consideration of five hundred dollars to me in hand paid 
do acknowledge sale of the following slaves towit:  
Allse aged about 35 years
Anna aged 10
Silas aged 7 years
Adeline aged 4 years
Alonzo aged 2 years
To have and to hold all the above.
Coneveyance is such that whereas said HEDDY this day became my Security in 
Several Sale bonds towit: one to John HOPEWELL, one to Notty MEASON, one to 
Jonathan BERKELEY, one to Alfred DOYLE - amounting in all to one hundred and 
seventy dollars.
