Deed Book B p. 537 Know all men by these presents that I Otho FARMER now of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky for and in consideration of a debt due by myself and James HOLSCLAW to John DUNN of fifty six pounds, fourteen shillings being the balance of a note and interest thereon Executed 18th day of December 1802. I do by there presents bargain and sell to the said John DUNN three horses of the following description Towit, One Bay Steed horse about 10 years old next Spring, one Bay Gelding named Paddy about fifteen hands high, a large Star in his forehead , one dark brown horse about five years old next Spring about fourteen hands high branded on the shoulder Buttock & Jaw with the letter H and figure of 3 also I do further sell to the said John DUNN two Cows One a red muly Cow and the other a white cow also two feather beds and furniture and I do by these presents warrant and defend the right & title of the aforesaid property to the said John DUNN his heirs or assignees. Nevertheless the above sale is on the following condition that if Otho FARMER shall well and truly pay to the said John DUNN in six months from this date the aforesaid sum of fifty six ponds fourteen shillings with legal interest from the date then the said DUNN shall convey and relinquish to the said Otho FARMER all right and title to the aforesaid property. Deed Book B p. 617 Otho FARMER of the County of Hardin and State of Kentucky to Thomas HOPEWELL of the County and State aforesaid ... for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds to him in hand paid hath granted bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the County of Hardin on the Rolling fork Containing four hundred acres be the same more or less and bounded as followeth, Towit, Beginning at a Beech on the south bank of the Rolling fork .... to a Sapling and dogwood on KENNEDY's line....
