21 Aug 1850 Bullitt County Deed Book M p. 59  John HOWLETT of the County of 
Bullitt, State of Kentucky, to Luke HOWLETT of same... for and in 
consideration of the sum of Three Thousand Dollars to be paid as follows:  
one note for $400 given due, three other notes due for the sum of $866.66 2/3 
each payable in one, two and three years from this date without interest... 
hath given, granted, bargained and sold three several tracts of land lying 
and being in the County of Bullitt on the Rolling Fork of Salt River, the 
first tract containing 100 acres, the same conveyed by William SHAIN and wife 
deed bearing date 25 Oct 1806, Recorded in Deed Book B p. 73,  the second 
conveyed by Cuthbert HARRISON and wife containing 100 acres deed bearing the 
date 13 May 1807 Recorded in Deed Book B p. 191 the third conveyed by 
Benjamin HARRISON for 100 acres deed bearing date 2 Aug 1845, Recorded Deed 
Book K p. 411.
