Deed Book F p. 77 Charles RATLIFFE of the County of Bullitt to William F. HILTON of same ... for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and six dollars in Commonwealth paper to him in hand paid have granted bargained and sold a tract or parcel of land lying in Bullitt County on the waters of Rock Run. (I could not fine how many acres). (signed) Charles RATLIFFE Witnesses: W. OVERALL and S. L. THOMPSON. Recorded Bullitt County Court 17 Sep 1825 Whereas Joseph R. HOSKINS dec’d did at a circuit court held at the Bullitt courthouse in Shepherdsville 21 Aug 1824 in a suit of chancery in the name of John LEEWRIGHT against said HOSKINS by the decree of said court recovered against LEEWRIGHT the sum of one hundred and eighty dollars thirty eight cents with interest and therein at the rate of six per cent per annum from the 1 April 1832 until paid and 33 cents cost, and the land mentioned in the complainants bill was directed to be sold on a credit to satisfy the decree and Rodolophus BUKY was appointed a Commissioner to carry said decree into effect, who at a circuit court held 24 Feb 1835 made and filed a report whereby it appeared that William F. HILTON became the purchaser of said land and executed his bond with security for the payment thereof... and as the Court was satisfied that the said W. F. HILTON had paid the full amount of said bond and on his motion, appointed George F. POPE Commissioner to convey the lands to HILTON with indenture dated 2 March 1825... for two certain tracts in Bullitt County on the waters of Coxes Creek, one containing 50 acres and the other 25 acres. HILTON of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky to Charles RATLIFFE of the county and State aforesaid... for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and six dollars in commonwealth paper to him in hand paid... have granted, sold and conveyed a certain tract or parcel of Land lying on the waters of Rock Run containing 84 1/2 acres more or less.
