Witnesseth that the said FOX and JOBE, Executors as aforesaid for an and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred Dollars good and lawful money of the United States in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying, and being in Bullitt County on the waters of Floyds fork... bounded by a corner of HOLSCLAW...to the original line of DAVID LEITCHE’s 14000 acre Survey... Deed Book D p. 153 ABRAHAM JOBE of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the one part and ARTHUR QUINN of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the same county and state... that for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid hath granted bargained and sold the following tract of Land lying and being in the County and State aforesaid Containing two Hundred acres and bounded by a line of JOHNSON containing two hundred acres. To have and to hold the Said Tract or parcel of land to him the said ARTHUR QUINN In Trust for the following purpose Towit whereas the said ABRAHAM JOBE Died on the Seventh day of January one Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventeen purchased of DANIEL THORNBERRY the aforesaid Tract of Land for the Sum of Five Hundred and Seventy Three Dollars and Twenty Cents with legal Interest to Commence upon the seventh day of January one thousand eight hundred and nineteen and being anxious to Secure the said DANIEL THORNBERRY the said Sum to be pain in Ten years from the said Seventeenth day of January one thousand Eight hundred and seventeen and the payment of the interest as it shall accrue yearly He there fare doth here by C---- the aforesaid Tract of Two Hundred acres of Land to the said QUINN for the said purpose Towit if he the said JOBE shall fail to pay the said DANIEL THORNBERRY the Interest accuring upon the Said sum of money each and every year Respectfully from the time aforesaid until the time in which the whole is paid the said QUINN shal advertise and Sell according to law so much of the said Land as will be sufficient to raise and pay the interest... He is seen here with his brother-in-law Jacob FOX. Arthur QUINN was married to Mary THORNBERRY (I don’t seem to have a date for this marriage) and I am not sure which THORNBERRY couple she belonged to?
