Deed Book B p. 62 William JOHNSON (attorney for his father Richard JOHNSON of the County of Scott and Commonwealth of Kentucky) of the one part to Cornelius BOGARD of the County of Bullitt, same Commonwealth of the other part... for and in consideration of the sum of twelve pounds current money of Kentucky to him in hand paid... doth grant, bargain and sell a certain tract or parcel of land being in the County of Bullitt on Salt River bounded by Gen’l LEWIS’s line.. Richard JOHNSON by his attorney, William JOHNSON will warrant and defend the said fifty three acres of land and every part thereof against the claim of himself, his heirs and the claim of Henry CRIST and WOOLFOLK and their heirs forever in Testimony Whereof the said William JOHNSON hath hereunto set his his seal.
