Witnesseth: That the said William Kirk for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, ____, granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell unto the said John T Hundley, his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the County of Bullitt and on the westerly side of cedar creek waters of Floyds fork and Rounded as follows towit: Beginning at a poplar stump thence N 86 E (for East) 71 poles to a stone on the west bank of cedar creek thence down the same 24 W 16 poles thence S 56 W 56 3/4 poles to a honey locust and sugar tree on the bank of said creek. thence N 55 1/2 W (for 55) 27 poles to a dogwood thence. N 1 W for North 50 poles to the place of Beginning containing fourteen and a half acres be the same more or less together with all and singular the appertenances there unto belonging, or in any wise appertaining. To Have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with the appertenances, unto the said John T. Hundly his heirs and assigns forever. And the said William Kirk for himself, his heirs executors and administrators the aforesaid tract of land and appertenances unto the said John T Hundly his heirs or assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever, doth and will forever warrant and defend, by these presents. In witness whereof the said William Kirk together with Agatha Kirk his wife, who hereby relinguishes her right of dower in and to the lands conveyed in this deed hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and date first above written his signed sealed and delivered in the presence of William x Kirk Seal I. D. S. Bacock, Caleb Wise. seal State of Kentucky Bullitt County, Sct I Noah C Summers clerk of the County Court for said County testify that this deed from William Kirk to John T Hundley was the 1st of April 1847 produced to me in my office and duly proved by the oath of I. D S Bacock and on the 19 March 1849 proved by the oath of Caleb Wise that said William Kirk acknowledged the same to be his act & deed and ordered to be witnessed Whereupon said deed and this certificate are truly recorded in my office this 24 of March 1869 Att.
