Deed Book E p. 35 James McGEE and Rebekah his wife of Shelby County and Nicholas PORTER of Bullitt County both of the state of Kentuck. Witnesseth that for and and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and Sixty Dollars in hand paid hath granted bargained and sold a certain parcel or tract of land lying and being in Bullitt County on the North side of Salt River at the mouth of Goose Run and bounded as followeth towit: Beginning on the Bank of Salt River at two Burches corner between Nicholas PORTER and David COLLINGS thence north to a Syckemore tree on the Bank of Goose Creek thence up the creek with its meanders to McGEES Original line.
