2 October 1833 Bullitt County Deed Book H p. 68  Thomas MIDDLETON and 
Elizabeth his wife of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky to 
Greenberry JOHNSON of the County and State aforesaid... for and in 
consideration of the sum of Two hundred and fifty dollars current money of 
the State aforesaid to him in hand paid hath granted, bargained and sold a 
certain tract or parcel of land he got of Philip JOHNSON lying and being 
situate in the County of Bullitt on the north side of the Rolling Fork of 
Salt river adjoining the lands of Cuthbert HARRISONS  Survey on the Bank of 
Indian Creek... Beginning at two beeches and sweet gum near the  big road 
from Middleton's ferry called to Shepherdsville... west to said Cuthbert 
HARRISON's back line upon the top of the Knob.
