28 Aug 1855  Bullitt County KY Deed Book N p. 344  Samuel J. MELTON and Mary 
Jane his wife late Mary Jane BRIDWELL of the first part to Richmond RIDGEWAY 
of the second part.  For and in consideration of the sum of  Two Hundred and 
Seventy dollars cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged 
.... hath granted bargain and sell the undivided interest of the said Mary 
Jane MELTON and Samuel J. MELTON of in and to a Tract of Land lying in the 
County of Bullitt on Floyds Fork containing the whole tract.  One Hundred and 
Seventy five acres more or less, and the interest of the said Mary Jane 
MELTON being the one seventh of the Whole Tract of Land and said Land being 
the Tract owned by her Father Fielding BRIDWELL at his death.
