Deed Book H p. 132 Peter MILLER of Bullitt County and state of Kentucky of the one part to Jacob MILLER Jr., son of the said Peter MILLER Sr.... for and in consideration of a one Dollar to him in hand paid doth grant bargain and sell a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being on Knob Creek and its waters in said County and State containing as supposed 254 1/4 acres ... bounded by the line of William POHONs 111 acre tract thence down said creek to the division line between said MILLER and Martin HARSHFIELD... to a white oak being one of RILEY's original corners thence in a straight line to the Corner of HORINES 500 acre tract... thence with POHON's line to two white oaks Martin MILLER's corner thence to the beginning reserving and excepting out of said tract a tract Conveyed by said MILLER Sr. to George MUNROE and a tract Conveyed to Jacob DOOLIN and a small tract sold to DICKINSON..and giving said Jacob MILLER Jr. the right and claim which said Peter holds on Martin HARSHFIELD to refund (?) $140 in Case that part of said tract which is within the lines of HORINE's survey should be lost. (signed) Peter (X) MILLER Sr. Recorded 27 December 1834 Bullitt County KY Court immediately following this deed is another between the same Peter MILLER and son Jacob, also for one dollar where he sells and delivers "all the horse creatures, hogs, cattle, sheep and all the farming utensils consisting of axes, hoes, plows and gun which are now on the plantation of the said Peter and this day conveyed by him to the said Jacob Jr. and a gun all being estimated at the price of one hundred and four Dollars." Recorded the same as above. Bullitt Co. Deed Book H p. 241 Whereas John MYERS some years ago sold to Jacob MILLER fifty six and a half acres of land part of Luke WHEELER's survey of three thousand one hundred and twenty five acres of land lying on the waters of Salt river in Bullitt County, State of Kentucky which tract of land the said John MYERS caused to be surveyed and laid off to said MILLER by making lines and corners thereof and the said MILLER took possession of the same although the said John MYERS did not convey the same or bind himself in writing to do so and whereas also the said Jacob MILLER for the consideration of One hundred and twenty dollars to him in hand paid and secured to be paid by note on the eleventh day of April in the year eighteen hundred and twenty six Sold the said fifty six and a half acres of land to James D. CRAIG and the said John MYERS gave his Bond to convey the said land and appurtenances to the said James D. CRAIG in the room and place of the said Jacob MILLER. This Indenture therefore made this eleventh day of May one thousand Eight hundred and thirty five Between said John MYERS and Hannah his wife of Bullitt County and State of Kentucky of the One part and the said James D. CRAIG of the same county and state of the other part. Witnesseth that the said John MYERS and Hannah his wife for and in consideration of the purchase money received from the said Jacob MILLER and the Bond aforesaid to the said James D. CRAIG Have and by these presents do grant release convey and confirm the said fifty six and a half acres of land more or less..
