Owen and his wife, Bertie L. Owen, of the first part and Ameail Fitzgerald and his wife, Offa Fitzgerald, of the second part, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Witnesseth: That for a valuable consideration, receipt of which is acknowledged; The first parties hereby sell and convey, with convenant of general warranty, unto second parties as tenants in common during their joint lives, with remainder in fee simple to the survivor of them, the following described real estate located in Bullitt County, Kentucky on the Glass Mill Road about 5 1/2 miles east from Shepherdsville, Kentucky, and bounded as follows: Beginning at a hickory, the southwest corner of Jacob Harmon's 1000 acre survey and running thence with line of same North 60 East 168 (for 163) poles to a stone marked "RJ"; thence North 30 West 97 poles to a stone marked "RJ" and white oak and dogwood; thence South 60 West 168 (for 163) poles to a stone in the west line of said survey; thence South 30 East 97 poles to the beginning, containing 101 acres. There is included in this conveyance a twelve foot passway along the eastern line of J.W. Lloyd's farm extending from the corner of said Lloyd's land at or near Needmore Schoolhouse to the above described land and there is excluded from the above boundary a 16 foot passway extending from Bell's Mill Road across the north line of said tract to Kirby Grant's. This is subject to easement of Salt River Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation recorded in Easement Book 1 Page 378. This was conveyed first parties by a deed from Nettie Cassell etc. dated December 28, 1940, recorded in Deed Book 61 Page 226 in office of Clerk of Bullitt County Court. The first parties covenant they are lawfully seized of the estate hereby conveyed, with full power to convey same in fee simple and there are no liens or claims against same except the taxes for 1948, which second parties agree to pay. Second parties get possession of all of farm except the main dwelling on same and possession of that to be given October 10, 1948. The first parties are to pay the light bill until possession of dwelling is given. In testimony whereof wintess hands of first parties this day and date first herein written. Paul L.
