William Robey Owen doth for him and his heirs give grant bargain sell and confirm unto the s. John OWEN Junr his heirs and assigns forever a certin parsel of land it being part of a tract of land called the Plesent Plans of Demaiscus lying in Montgomery County on the Branches of purtupon(?) River and begining at the end of the tenthline(?) and running thence East sixty seven perches(?) South forty fore degres East forty forty perches North eaghty degrees East one hundred and fifteen perches then to the end of the thirty second line of s. land and running thence South seventy six degree West sixty fore perches West forty perches North forty eight perches North ninteen degree East one hundred and eighteen perches North twenty three degree East fifty eight perches South seventy nine degree West ninty perches South sixty eight degrees West one hundred perches South eighty seven degree West forty perches then by a state(?) line to the frist begining containing and now lain out for two hundred and eleven acres of land more or less together with all and singlar the improvements convenences and advantages thare on or thare unto in any was(?) appertaining or belonging to have and to hold the afs land and premises unto him the afs John OWEN Junr his hires and assigns forever to the only proper uses and enjoyment of him the s John OWEN Junr his hires and assigens and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoaver and the aforesaid William Robey OWEN doth for himself his haires executors Administrators or assigns covenent promas grant agree to and with the afs John OWEN Junr his haires and assigens the afs land and premises according to the true intent and meaning as aforesaid for ever heare after against all maner of Persons claming whatsoever that shall claim by from or under him to warrant and defend in Testimoney whareof the the said William Robey OWEN hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written Signed Seal and Delivered in the presents of us William Roby OWEN Edw BURGESS Henry GAITHER On the Back of which Deed was this enclosed to wit Recived the day and year within written of the within names John OWEN the sum tow hundred and twenty five pounds currant money it being in full of the consideration money within menshoned I say(?) rceived(?) by me, ---------- William Roby OWEN Witnesses Edw. BURGESS Henry GAITHER Montgomery County January 16th 1779 came William Robey OWEN before us the subscriber(?) two of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within Instrument of righting to be his Act and Deed and the Same and premises there in ______(?) to be the right and Estate of him the said John OWEN his heirs and assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning thereof and at the same time come Lucy OWEN wife him the said William Robey OWEN and being by us privately examined out of the hearing of her said husband acknowledged that she did the same freely and willingly without being compelled thereto by any threats from her said Husband or for fear of his displeasure.
