Witnesseth the Conditions of the Obligation in such: Whereas on the 9th July 1852 the said DAVID PARRIS Sr. Conveyed to JOHN HALL by deed a certain tract of land containing One hundred acres more or less on which the said DAVID PARRIS Sr. now resides and for the sum of one thousand Two hundred Dollars which sum is a payment in part for a team saw and Grist mill and eleven acres and twenty eight poles of land including the same which mills and fixtures and the said eleven acres and 28 poles of land including the same was conveyed to the said JOHN PARRIS to DAVID PARRIS Jr. by deed dated 9 July 1852 by JOHN HALL and for the sum of one hundred dollars. Now the said JOHN PARRIS and DAVID PARRIS Junr. have agreed to and with the said DAVID PARRIS Sr. and ELIZABETH PARRIS his wife and the father and mother of the said JOHN & DAVID Jr. during their lives (that is the lives of said DAVID PARRIS Sr. and his wife) with the necessary decent and comfortable clothing apparel, with good and nourishing food such as persons of their advanced age and infirmitys require and with a comfortable room beding and firewood and fires such as their condition requires and to make them comfortable for which the said DAVIS PARRIS Sr. agrees to and with the said JOHN PARRIS and DAVID PARRIS Jr. that he will release them from the payments of two hundred dollars of the price of said tract of land which leaves a ballance of one thousand Dollars due to the said DAVID PARRIS Sr. which is secured to him by note and payable on demand...
