Deed Book G p. 493 LISTON D. PARRISH of the town of Mount Washington, Bulllitt County Kentucky of the one part and Joseph STEPHENS and SAMUEL EVANS of the County and State afs’d of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Liston D. PARRISH did the 7th day of January 1833 execute to JOHN HARRIS of the County afs’d his promissory note of hand for the sum of one hundred dollars payable on the seventh day of August 1833 said note was given by said PARRIS and the said STEPHENS and EVANS as his securities for the same . NOW for the purpose of securing to the said STEPHENS and EVANS in their securityships to him in said note to the said HARRIS as aforesaid the said PARRISH hath this day pledged the following real and personal property towit: One small piece of ground on the north side of Main Street of the town of Mt. Washington with a house erected thereon which adjoins the lot of ground in said Town belonging to EDWARD STRINGER and the lot of ground owned by Austin and CHARLES HALL, two feather beds, bedsteads and furniture, One cherry bureau, one cherry table and dressing table and one half dozen windsor chairs, One Walnut cupboard and all the cupboard furniture for the purposes aforesaid But it is expressly understood that if the said PARRISH shall well and truly pay up to the said HARRIS the amount of the note aforesaid and keep them the said STEPHENS and EVANS his securities as aforesaid from the payment of the same then the mortgage to cease and to be of none effect. PARRISH and EDMUND N. PARRISH both of Mt. Washington, Bullitt County Kentucky. For and in Consideration of the sum of Fifty dollars good and lawful money of the U.S.A. to them in hand paid by the said L. D. and E. N. PARRISH Have granted bargained and sold a certain lot or parcel of land being the lot #32 on the South Side of the Town of Mt. Washington and at present occupied by said N. PARRISH, about 82 1/2 feet in front of the street known by the name of Water Street and then running parallel lines S of S.W. until they intersect HALL’s line on the southern boundary. PARRISH and ARVELLA his wife of the County Bullitt and State of Kentucky to EDMUND STUCKEY of Mount Washington Bullitt County Kentucky... for and in consideration of one hundred and Seventy five dollars current money of the United States to them in hand paid have granted bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Bullitt in the town of Mt. Washington known by the number twenty eight in a plat of said town, the said lot measures five poles in front on Snapp Street running back to HALDERMAN’s line. (signed) L. D.
