The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net Transcribed by: donkmill@aol.com Date: 22 Oct 2000 *********************************************************************** DEED BOOK F, pages 336,337 This Indenture made this 29th day of May one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven between Henry ROBB and Elizabeth hi wife of the County of Jefferson and state of Kentucky of the one part and Jacob MILLER of the County of Bullitt and same State of the other part Witnesseth that the said Henry ROBB and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred and thirty dollars __ in commonwealth's Bank paper equal in value to four hundred and sixty five dollars in specia to him in hand paid before the sealing and delivery thereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargan and sold and by these presents do hereby grant bargan and sell alien release convey and confirm unto the said Jacob MILLER his heirs ____ a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being on Knob creek in Bullitt County and state aforesaid said to be one hundred and fifty Acres more or less but which tract of land is bounded as follows towit beginning at the fork of a branch on the bank of knob creek the beginning of a five hundred acre survey patented in the name of Jacob HORINE thence north sixty degrees west one hundred poles to a sugar tree ash and elm thence north thirty degrees east one hundred and twelve poles to three white oaks thence south fifty nine and a half degrees east two hundred poles to a buck eye ash and elm thence south thirty degrees west one hundred and twelve poles to three white oaks thence north sixty degrees west one hundred poles to the beginning. Being the same tract of land which was conveyed by John MYRES to the said Henry ROBB by deed bearing date the 31st day of October 1809 and of Record in the Clerks office of the Bullitt County Court reference being thereto had will more fully appear To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all the appurtinances unto the said Jacob MILLER his heirs _____ and to his and their only proper use benefit and behoof forever and the said Henry ROBB and Elizabeth his wife for themselves do covenant and agree to and with the said Jacob MILLER his heirs __ that they will and their heirs shall warrant sand forever defend the said tract or parcel of land to the said Jacob MILLER his heirs & from themselves their heirs and all and every person or persons claiming the same by those or under them but from no other persons but it is understood between the parties that if the said land should be ever taken from the said MILLER by any better claim the said Henry ROBB his heirs ___ is to pay unto the said MILLER his heirs ____ the full amount of the purchase money without any interest thereon of the purchase money in selves being four hundred and seventy five dollars In testimony whereof the said Henry ROBB and Elizabeth his wife hereto set their hands and seals on the day and year before written Signed sealed and delivered in presence of Henry ROBB (seal) (seal) State of Kentucky Bullitt County Court office 29 May 1827 This Indenture was this day produced to me Sydney S.
