 This Indenture made this 11 day of March 1839 between John ROBY, Reason 
ROBY, Owen ROBY, Samuel ROBY, Otho ROBY, Polly ROBY, Susan ROBY, Joseph 
GREENWELL and Polly GREENWELL his wife, formerly Polly ROBY, Jno. B. BOLTON 
and Catherine BOLTON, formerly Catherine ROBY and James CRENSHAW and Harriet 
CRENSHAW, formerly Harriet ROBY all heirs and devisees of Lawrence ROBY Dec'd 
and William ROBY, Laurence ROBY Jr., Catharine WALKER, Nancy ROBY and Mary 
ROBY, children of William ROBY who was one of the heirs of Lawrence ROBY 
dec'd for and in consideration of the Sum of Nine hundred and Eighty nine 
dollars and Seventy five cents doth grant, bargain and sell a Tract or parcel 
of land on the waters of Coxes Creek where the Said Lawrence ROBY Jr. now 
lives... beginning at a walnut and two Hickory near L. ROBY's Stable, running 
thence with Walter BAKER's line...containing one hundred acres more or less.
