22 March 1806  Bullitt Co. Deed Book B p. 59  Benjamin LASLEY & his wife of Nelson County  to 
Jonathan RICKETTS of Bullitt County for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and 
Eighty pounds to him in hand paid hath granted, bargained and Sold a certain tract or parcel of 
land lying and being in the  County of Bullitt on the waters of Wilson's Creek and due north of 
the SMITH's preemption line running thence north fifty nine degrees East forty three  poles to 
two finger tree in James LINN's Settlement line ...thence to FINN's line... containing 150 acres 
of land.

(no date) 1812 Bullitt Co. Deed Book C p. 24  Peter RICKETS and Mary his wife of the County of 
Bullitt and State of Kentucky to Jonathan RICKETS of the County and State aforesaid... for and 
in consideration of the sum of ten Dollars to them in hand paid have given granted and sold a 
certain tract or parcel of land Containing three acres lying and being in the County of 
Bullitt and state aforesaid on the waters of Wilsons Creek.

21 July 1836   Bullitt County Deed Book H p. 323 John L. DUVALL and Mehala his wife of the 
County of Nelson and State of Kentucky of the one part to Richard W. DEATS of the County of 
Bullitt and State aforesaid of the other part.  For and in consideration of the sum of One 
hundred dollars current money to them in hand paid have granted bargained the following tract or 
parcel of land ... containing fifty four acres be the same more or less being part of a survey 
made in the name of John CARR of Two hundred acres lying in said County of Bullitt and on 
Crooked creek and its waters..(signed)
