18 March 1850  Bullitt County Deed Book M p. 31  Henry MYERS, John SHOPTAW 
and James SHOPTAW of the County of Bullitt, State of Kentucky to Christopher 
HARSHFIELD of same.  For and in consideration of the sum of one hundred 
dollars to them in hand paid have granted, bargained and sold a certain Tract 
or parcel of land lying in the County of Bullitt on the waters of Brushy 
fork, a small branch of Knob Creek.
