Elizabeth SHEPHERD, widow, and Ann SHEPHERD, Elizabeth SHEPHERD, Elvira 
SHEPHERD and Mary SHEPHERD, heirs of John B. SHEPHERD, dec'd by Robert F. 
SAMUELS, commr. for them for that purpose of one part to Lorenzo HOGLAND.  
That whereas in the suit in chancery of Lorenzo HOGLAND against John B. 
SHEPHERDs Heirs in the Bullitt Circuit Court, the said court did by its 
decree dated 16 Oct 1851 decree and order the sale of a house and lot of 
ground adjoining the Town of Shepherdsville in the pleadings named to be sold 
in Satisfaction of said decree and appointed Henry C. THOMAS Commissioner to 
sell the same and said Commissioner did advertise said lot and House to be 
sold at the Courthouse door in Shepherdsville on the 17th day of November 
1851... and Lorenzo HOGLAND, the Complainant became the purchaser for the sum 
of One hundred and Eighty four dollars seventy cents and said Commissioner 
returned his report of sale to court on the 12 day of April 1852 and report 
was confirmed and on the 16th day of April 1852 R. F. SAMUELS was appointed 
Commissioner on the part of John B. SHEPHERD's Heirs to convey said House and 
Lot to said Lorenzo HOGLAND.
