6 Sep 1809 Bullitt Co. KY Deed Book B p. 334.  Adam SHEPHERD and Rachael his 
wife of the County of Bullitt and Commonwealth of Kentucky to Christian GORE, 
Andrew GORE and Jacob GORE, heirs and Devisees of Jacob GORE deceased of the 
county of Baltimore and State of Maryland.  For and in consideration of the 
sum of two hundred dollars current money of the United States of America to 
them in hand paid have given granted bargained and sold a certain tract or 
parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Mercer and State of 
Kentucky about eight miles from Harrods Creek on a branch of Chaplins fork... 
containing seven hundred and twenty acres it being the land sold by said 
SHEPHERD to the said Jacob GORE deceased in his life time as per his bond 
dated 15 Aug 1785 will appear.

1 Jan 1806  Bullitt Co. KY Deed Book B p. 36  Adam SHEPHERD and Rachael his 
wife of the County of Bullitt and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part to 
Ephraim JOHNSON of the County of  and Commonwealth aforesaid... for and in 
consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars current money of the United 
States of America to them in hand paid have given granted bargained and sold 
a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres situate lying 
and being in the County of Bullitt bounded by John MADSON’s lower corner... 
to a white oak and bush standing in MACHER’S line.

John MASDON  of the County of  and Commonwealth aforesaid... for and in 
consideration of the sum of three hundred and forty  dollars current money of 
the United States of America to them in hand paid have given granted 
bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred 
acres situate lying and being in the County of Bullitt bounded by  the South 
Bank of Cane run... to MACHIR’s Corner.
