18 May 1827  Bullitt Co. Deed Book F p. 317  JAMES STRANNEY of the County of Bullitt and his 
wife MARY  to JAMES A. DEACON of same for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and 
forty dollars current money of the United States... have granted, bargained and sold a 
certain tract of land lying in Bullitt County bordering the lands of NATHANIEL HARRIS... up 
the Creek to BUTCHER's 50 acre tract...  containing 92 acres being the same land conveyed by 
SARAH HARRIS to NATHAN HARRIS by deed dated 4 Oct 1811 and by said NATHAN  H. HARRIS to 
JAMES STRANNEY by deed dated 25 Dec 1821.  Recorded in Bullitt County Clerk's office.

- may just be the handwriting, I suppose)

14 Sep 1833 Bullitt Co. Deed Book G p. 520  JAMES A. DEACON and Rebecca his wife of the 
County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the one part to JAMES STRANEY of the same County 
and State of the other part that for and in consideration of the sum of one Dollar current 
money to him in hand paid have granted bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of land 
lying and being on the waters of Ceder Creek on the South side of Salt River in Bullitt 
County containing ninety two acres be the same more or less ... bordering  NATHAN HARRIS' 
old place,  BUTCHER's line, the corner of HARRIS' land..
