Bullitt Co. Deed Book B p. 378  Know all men by these presents that I Abraham MILLER of the county of Christian and 
Commonwealth of Kentucky for and in consideration of forty seven pounds and ten shillings to me in hand paid by 
Joseph BROOKS of the County of Bullitt, Commonwealth of Kentucky do  hereby acknowledged  and forever quit claimed and 
by these presents release forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in Bullitt Co. containing four 
hundred acres patented to Carty WELLS 4 Jan 1786 and on the 14 April 1810 conveyed by the said WELLS to the said 
MILLER.

28 April 1798  Bullitt Co. KY Deed Book A2 p. 66  CARTY WELLS and PEGGY his wife of the County of Prince William and 
State of Virginia of the one part and THOMAS SANDERS of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the other part 
that for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred pounds in hand paid we do hereby bargain and Sell a Certain 
parcel of Land being part of a tract Entered and Surveyed in the name of Thomas HARDING in the Said County of Bullitt 
containing three hundred acres be the same more or less and Bounded as followeth: Begining at two white oaks one the 
west side of the Buffaloe Road leading from the Blue Licks to Floyds fork about five miles from the Said Lick...

Bullitt County Deed Book H p. 44   13 Feb 1834 THOMAS SAUNDERS of Bullitt County and State of Kentucky to THOMAS WELLS 
of the same place... for and in consideration of the sum of Twelve hundred Dollars current money of the United States 
to be paid as follows: Six hundred Dollars in hand paid and three hundred dollars in twelve months from this date and 
three hundred Dollars in two years from this date the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged.  He the said SANDERS 
has granted bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of Land in Bullitt County and Jefferson containing One 
hundred and forty acres more or less being part of THOMAS SANDER’S 500 acre survey and the same land which was 
conveyed by THOMAS SANDERS to JOSEPH SAUNDERS by deed dated 2 March 1813 recorded in Deed Book B p. 648 Bullitt 
County and by said JOSEPH SAUNDERS sold and coveyed to said THOMAS SAUNDERS by deed dated 2 March 1813.
