14 Dec 1811  Bullitt Co. KY Deed Book B p. 529  Simeon and David HALL and Nancy HALL, the wife of Simeon and 
Rachel HALL the wife of Daniel of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the first part and Richard 
P. SIMMONS of the County and State aforesaid of the other part.  Witnesseth that for and in consideration of 
the sum of four hundred dollars of Current money of the State of Kentucky to them in hand paid do bargain and 
sell One certain tract or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the County of Bullitt on Salt river 
containing the full quantity of one thousand and thirty acres.

Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part to Robert SIMMONS of the County of Bullitt and Commonwealth 
aforesaid ... for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings Current money of Kentucky to him in hand 
paid have granted bargained and sold a tract or parcel of Land situate and being in the County of Bullitt on 
the waters of salt river containing one hundred and seventeen acres... bounded by WILSON's line.

19 August 1826  Bullitt Co. Deed Bk. F p.209  Nathan HARRIS and Mary his wife of the County of Bullitt and 
State of Kentucky of the one part to Griffin SIMMONS of same County and State... for and in consideration of 
the sum of Seven hundred dollars to them in hand paid Have granted bargained and sold a certain tract or 
parcel of land containing one hundred Acres more or less out of two certain Tracts which one hundred acres of 
Land is situate lying and being on Cedar Creek on the south side of Salt River in Bullitt County Kentucky.

12 Oct 1846   Bullitt Co.  Deed Book L p. 32    James CRENSHAW, Elisha SIMMONS and Rhoda SIMMONS his wife and 
Mary Jane DENT and Lucy Agness DENT by Noah C. SUMMERS commissioner for them for that purpose of the one part 
and George B. DENT of the second part.  Witnesseth that whereas in a suit in chancery in the Bullitt Circuit 
Court in the name of said Rhoda SIMMONS against said Elisha SIMMONS, James CRENSHAW, George B. DENT, Mary 
Jane DENT and Lucy Agness DENT the said Court did by its decree of 11 April 1846 direct the two Tracts of 
land in the bill mentioned, being the two tracts claimed by said Rhoda SIMMONS late Rhoda CRENSHAW, widow of 
Bluford CRENSHAW as dower in the tract of some 211 acres on Salt River and Coxs Creek, Bullitt County and the 
same land sold by Rhoda SIMMONS and James CRENSHAW to said Geo. B. DENT one tract containing about 50 acres 
and the other containing about 17 1/2 acres making in all 67 1/2 acres more or less, reference to the said 
papers  in said suit will more particularly show - should be sold by Henry C. THOMAS Comr. for that purpose 
to raise the money decreed to be paid in said Chancery cause: and said Henry C. THOMAS Comr. for that purpose 
did by said decree sell said land 28 May 1846  and said George B. DENT being the purchaser for the sum of 
$700 , said Comrs. report sale has been returned to the Bullitt Circuit Court and Confirmed by said Court.
