28 August 1802  Bullitt Co. Deed Book A2  p. 284  Leonard BURCH & Sarah his Wife of the 
County of Breckenridge, State of Kentucky of the one part to Richard SIMMONS Senior of the 
County of Bullitt & State Aforesaid... that for and in consideration of the Sum of One 
hundred & Eighty Pounds Current money of the State aforesaid to him in hand paid do grant 
bargain and sell a Certain Tract or parcel of Land Situate lying and being in the County of 
Bullitt & State of Kentucky on Cedar Creek, a Branch of Salt River and Bounded as follows:  
Beginning at a Post marked A. Running thence South Eighty three Degrees West one hundred and 
 Sixteen Perches to a Black Oak of Elm Standing in the Road leading from Shepherdsville ...

County and State of Kentucky of the one part to Humphrey SIMMONS of same that for and in 
consideration of the Sum of One hundred & fifty Pounds to them in hand paid have given 
Granted Bargained and sold One hundred Acres of Land more or less Situate lying and Being in 
Bullitt County and State of Kentucky on the South Side of Seder Creek on the East fork of 
the Creek.

WAKEFIELD and Teresa WAKEFIELD his wife and Nancy SIMMONS of Bullitt County and State of 
Kentucky of the one part to George PARRIS of the County and State aforesaid of the other 
part that for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred Dollars to them in hand paid 
have granted, bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being situate 
in Bullitt County on the waters of Cedar Creek containing 41 acres, 2 Roods and 10 poles 
it being a part of Humphrey SIMMONS Dec'd 150 Acre Survey ... bordering a corner of the 
Widow SIMMONS Dower .

him in hand paid do sell and convey a tract of Land Containing 100 acres on the waters of 
Salt River, Bullitt County ... bordering the South bank of Salt River.
