Deed Bk B, p 58 SPINKS; BURCH; GRAYSON Know all men by these presents that we Sarah SPINKS of Bullitt County and Francis SPINKS, Raphael SPINKS, Elizabeth SPINKS, Margrate SPINKS, Sarah SPINKS of Washington County and Ann BURCH of Bullitt County of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, doth hereby nominate, constitute & appoint William SPINK of Bullitt County and Commonwealth afforesaid our true and lawful attorney for the special and express purpose of selling and conveying a certain tract of land lying and being situated in the County of Prince George & State of Maryland near the City of Washington containing one hundred and four acres called and known by the name of HURLEYS fancy-white marshes and the Wedge for the best price he may be capable of geting – For which purpose we the above named heirs and representatives of Francis SPINKS decd as such doth hereby vest the said William SPINKS with all our full power and authority to so transact sell and convey the said premises as fully and completely as if we were personally pre sent. Thereby ratifying and confirming whatsoever our said attorney may do by virtue of these presents. Whereas in testimony we have each for ourselves set our hands and seals this 15th day of August eighteen hundred 1806 Sarah [X] SPINKS of Bullitt [seal] Ann BURCH [seal] Commonwealth of Kentucky Bullitt County towit To all whom it may concern I Frederick William Spence GRAYSON clerk of the County Court of said county do make known that on the day of the date hereof Sarah SPINKS of said County and Ann BURCH whose names are subscribed to the within Power of Attorney personally before me at my office acknowledged the same to be there voluntary act and Deed for the purpose therin expressed and that I have recorded the said Power of attorney and this ____ of acknowledgement in my office as required by Law.
