Deed Book F p. 459 By direction of the commissioners appointed by the County Court of Bullitt County I proceeded and surveyed Nancy FUQUAY's Dower Including the House and improvements formerly occupied by Jonathan SIMMONS being a part of WHITIKER's 460 acre Survey and run the Division line to their directions. Beginning at a red elm near a branch and in Jonathan SIMMON's line... to a poplar in Lewis BROWN's field... We R. BUKY, O. CRENSHAW and J. BAIN Commissioners made and entered into this 29 April 1828 between Grayson THOMPSON and Nancy his wife of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the one part to Sophia L. WITHERS of the same County whereas the said Nancy then Nancy FUQUAY about 183 1/3 acres of land as her Dower right in the land of her late husband, Henry FUQUAY declared which assignment was made for the purpose appointed by the County Clerk for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty Dollars in hand paid have given granted and sold all right title and interest in the said 183 1/3 acres of Land.
