Deed Bk I p. 259 Septamus TOMLINSON of the one part and Jefferson RAYERDON and John MONRO of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Sep TOMLINSON on his part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and ten dollars to me in hand paid by John CALDWELL of the state and county aforesaid acknowledge and this day have bargained and sold to Jefferson RAYERDON and John MONRO and their heirs and assigns forever a certain parcel or tract of land lying in the county aforesaid bounded by Salt RIVER and CALDWELL's gate being the land deeded by Thomas DAVIS to the said TOMLINSON which said TOMLINSON doth warrant and defend (signed) Septimus TOMLINSON Lucy TOMLINSON Recorded 26 Nov 1838 Bullitt Co. Court Lucy is not mentioned in the body of the deed but she does sign and when the deed is recorded the clerk states that Lucy TOMLINSON is wife of said Septimus and that she released her dower right. 2 October 1840 Bullitt Co. KY Deed Book I p. 335 Septimus TOMLINSON and Lucy his wife of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky to Robert DAVIS of the County and State aforesaid. For and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred dollars current money to them in hand paid have bargained and sold the two following described tracts of land in said County one of which said tracts lies on Salt River bounded by the bank of Salt River and running with the line of CALDWELL that the said conveyed by John CALDWELL and wife deed dated 30 April 1832 including the land occupied by said TOMLINSON containing about 23 acres more or less. The other tract is also situate on Salt River running with CALDWELL's line containing 36 acres and 30 poles the land conveyed by Thomas DAVIS to said TOMLINSON in deed dated 26 Aug 1830.
