Deed Bk K p. 70 RICHARD M. TROUTMAN of Bullitt County, State of Kentucky to MATTHEW RUST of the County of Hardin and state aforesaid... for and in consideration of the indebtedness of said TROUTMAN to the said RUST in the just and full sum of Two hundred and Seventy three dollars and sixty one cents due and payable on the second and third days of January as evidenced by notes of hand given the second day of January last... have granted bargained and conveyed two gray horses and black mare, one bay mare, one sorrel colt and one roan cold, seven head of cattle, twenty three head hogs, one wagon and four pair geers, Eight head sheep with this condition that if he the said TROUTMAN or any one for him shall well and truly pay off and discharge the said notes with all costs on or before the first day of January next this deed of mortgage is to be null and void. (signed) RICHARD M. TROUTMAN Recorded 30 Mar 1843 Bullitt Co. KY Court Bullitt County Deed Book M p.251 Whereas MARTIN TROUTMAN of Bullitt County stands justly indebted to JAMES B. CUNDIFF of Same County, the sum of Fifty dollars for the purchase of a sorrel mare, with bald face and four white feet and a briddle and Saddle and said TROUTMAN desiring to secure the payment of the same on or before the 2nd day of June next has this day Mortgaged and put in pledge to the said CUNDIFF said Sorrel Mare. Now if said TROUTMAN shall well and Truly pay said sum of Fifty dollars to CUNDIFF when it shall fall due then this deed of mortgage shall be void and of no effect, if not it Shall continue in full force. dated 2nd day of February 1852 Recorded 29 April 1852 Bullitt Co. KY Court Bullitt Co. KY Will Book G p. 207 18 Sep 1865 - an execution of HENRY STALLINGS, administrator of MARY McCAWLEY dec'd, it is ordered that R. B. CUNDIFF, JAMES CUNDIFF, and J. M. CARPENTER be appointed appraisers to appraise the personal estate of said MARY McCAWLY or any two of whom being first sworn may act and report to court.
