4 Jan 1850  Bullitt County Deed Book M  p. 151  KATHERINE RIDGEWAY (late KATHERINE 
TRUNNELL), widow of BENJAMIN RIDGEWAY of Sullivan County, State of Indiana of the one part 
to HENRY TRUNNELL of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the other part... that 
for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars in hand paid have granted bargained and 
sold to the said HENRY TRUNNELL all her interest in the estate of her father JOHN TRUNNELL 
dec'd which consists of  one hundred and five acres of land, more or less in Bullitt County, 
two Negroes, one old woman HANNAH about sixty years old and negro man named COLEMAN about 
twenty six years old and all the interest of slaves now in the possession of CORDELIA 
BRASHEARE purchased by the said decedent JOHN TRUNNELL sold for  and all the hire of negroes 
and rent s of land since the death of said JOHN TRUNNELL dec'd together with all the 
appurtenances of said estate of said decedent belonging unto the said HENRY TRUNNELL his 
heirs and assignees subject to the dower of Mrs. ELIZA TRUNNELL the widow of decedent to 
have and Hold the land, negroes and personalty money and debts of said decedent herein 
enumerated unto the said HENRY TRUNNELL his heirs and assigns forever.
