LISMAN and wife to Henry TRUNNELL (Will Book M, pg 149-150) This indenture made this fifteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifty between Adan LISMAN and Nancy LISMAN his wife (late Nancy RIDGEWAY of the County of Sullivan and State of Indiana) of the one part and Henry TRUNNELL of the County of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the other part witnesseth that the said Adam LISMAN and Nancy LISMAN his wife (late Nancy RIDGEWAY) for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to thine in hand paid by the said Henry TRUNNELL the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold converged and confirmed and doth by these presents sell convey and confirm unto the said Henry TRUNNELL his heirs and assigns forever, all their interest being undivided in the estate of John TRUNNELL ded'd, the father of the said Nancy, which interest is the one thirteenth part of said Estate of said John TRUNNELL dec'd and consists of one hundred and five acres of Land more or less in Bullitt County Kentucky, two Negroes, one old woman Hannah about sixty years of age, a Negro man named COLEMAN about thirty six years old and all the Interest of slaves now in the possession of Cordelia BRASHEARS purchased by said accedent John TRUNNELL of Otho BRASHEARS and also all the interest in the money or debts for which the personal property of said decedent John TRUNNELL sold for and all the hire of Negroes and rents of Lands since the death of said John TRUNNELL dec'd be the same more or less together with all the appurtenances thereunto appertaining belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said Henry TRUNNELL his heirs and assigns subject to the dower of Mrs Eliza TRUNNELL the widow of the said John TRUNNELL dec'd to have and to hold the lands Negroes and personalty, money, and debts of said accedent John TRUNNELL herein enumerated unto the said Henry TRUNNELL his heirs and assigns against the claim of the said Adam LISMAN who holds a life estate in the Realty, and also against the claim of the aforesaid Nancy Lisman the wife of the said Adam LISMAN, the said Nancy holding the _______in the above ascribed Estate and Interest of her father Henry (error)TRUNNELL deceased and the said Adam LISMAN and Nancy his wife (late Nancy RIDGEWAY formerly Nancy TRUNNELL) doth hereby release and relinquish all right title and Interest they may hold jointly or severally into the above described Estate and Interest unto the Henry TRUNNELL his heirs and assigns forever. In testimony whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written. Witness Adam LISMAN Thomas MARKS Nancy LISMAN I. M. BATTSON one of the Justices of the Peace of said County do hereby certify that the above named Adam LISMAN came personally before me and acknowledged the foregoing Instrument of writing to be his voluntary act and for the purposes therein mentioned. Also Nancy LISMAN above named, the wife of said Adam LISMAN who being by me examined privily and separate and apart from and without the hearing of her husband and the full consents and purports of the said deed being by me made knowing to her she acknowledged that she voluntary executed the same of her own free will and accord and without any _____or compulsion from her said husband in witness of which I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 15th day of October 1850.
