3 Aug 1831  Bullitt Co. KY Deed Book G p. 481  BAZE THURMAN and Margaret THURMAN his 
wife of the County of Spencer and State of Kentucky of the one part to MARTIN ALLEN of 
the Town of Mt. Washington, Bullitt County and FLOYD PARKS of Jefferson County and 
State aforesaid of the other part... that for and in consideration of the sum of one 
hundred and thirty dollars good and lawful money of the United States in hand paid  
have granted bargained and sold two lots of ground situate lying and being in the town 
of Mt. Washington on the north side of the main street which runs eastwardly and 
Westwardly through said Town and numbered thirty one and thirty five containing one 
half acre each more or less, reference is had to the deed from DAVID R. DRAKE, 
Guardian to CHRISTOPHER HOUGH to said BAZE THURMAN for greater certainty which deed is 
recorded in the Clerk’s office of Bullitt Co. Court.

18 Oct 1847  Bullitt Co. Deed Book L p. 178  JOHN HOWLETT Sr. and SARAH his wife of 
Bullitt County and State of Kentucky to BENJAMIN FRENCH of same... that for and in 
consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars to them in hand paid have 
sold and conveyed a certain tract of land lying in Bullitt County on the Rolling Fork 
containing one hundred and fifty acres by survey and bounded by the bank of the 
Rolling Fork, the original line of BAYNES 600 acre tract...  being the same land 
conveyed to said JOHN HOWLETT Sr. by PRIOR THURMAN and wife deed dated 11 March 1841 
and recorded Deed Book I p. 386
